Permaculture Introductory Weekends

The Introductory weekend, is a ‘potted’ permaculture course, looking at the foundations of permaculture and learning about some of the practical tools it offers. The weekend course can be considered a 'stand alone' introduction to Permaculture ethics, principles and design, or else can be a lead-in to the more in depth full 72 hour Permaculture Design Course. Course outline; The first in a series of exciting collaborations between, Coop Peyps, Evelyn Community Garden and Naturewise, this two-day course will cover Permaculture ethics and principles, introduce design tools and methods and include participants being set practical tasks and design exercises, these processes will be focused on applying Permaculture to the buildings and grounds of thePepys Estate.

Course outline: This weekend 'taster' course will introduce Permaculture ethics and principles, design tools and methods to those interested and to learn how to navigate their way through the challenges of building a sustainable future, suited to your individual circumstances. The course provides the opportunity to discuss vitally important issues in a positive, creative and supportive space. The course is lively, participatory and thought provoking.
